Community housing provider celebrates 50 years

2017 sees the history of CCHA, a local community housing provider span proudly across half a century. Founded in 1967, CCHA’s mission was ‘to help the housing situation in Croydon’. The fundamental objective behind that mission is still ever-present, reflected in the current visions and values that the organisation holds true today.

To mark the milestone, CCHA will be holding an event at the end of January in the grand Braithwaite Hall in Croydon, with attendance from one of the founders, Peter Juniper amongst other dignitaries

CCHA currently manage and own over 1400 homes with ambitious development plans for the future despite fierce competition within the sector.

Tracy Cullen, Chief Executive says: “It is an absolute honour to lead CCHA into its 5th decade of housing in Croydon and neighbouring Boroughs. I am committed to the growth of the organisation, which means creating more homes to meet the growing needs of the local people. With that said, our first priority will always be our existing residents and the quality of the services they receive.”
