Our Leaders Events are a unique opportunity for member chairs and chief executives to come together.
Summer Event for Leaders
Monday 15 July, 11am – 3pm
Novotel, Victoria Street, Bristol, BS1 6HY.
Our Leaders Events are a unique space for chairs and chief executives to come together to talk, network, learn and be inspired.
This event in Bristol comes hot on the heels of the general election and will be a brilliant opportunity for chairs and chief executives to talk about what the new government means for place-based housing associations and your role as leaders. We will be looking at our strategy for engaging with the new government to achieve our vision of putting place-shaping at the heart of decision-making.
Kate Wareing, the Chief Executive of Soha Housing, in conversation with Matthew Walker, the Chair of PlaceShapers, will lead a discussion on how housing need and who we house is changing, how we are responding, and what the long-term implications of this change might be.
Finally, Kevin Rodgers, the Chief Executive of Citizen, will share his reflections on the new consumer standards and the new regulatory regime provide an opportunity for you to talk through any questions and concerns you have about the new regime.
Our first event in Manchester in March was packed full of debate, discussion and ideas about how to plot a more positive course for the future. Jo Savage, Chief Executive of Greatwell Homes, has blogged about it here.
If this event sounds right up your street, but the date or the location don’t work for you, look out for details of our next event planned for London later in the year.
We can’t wait to see you in Bristol for what promises to be a thought-provoking and collaborative conversation.
Register now and get the date in your diary.
Please note Leaders events attendance is limited to chief executives and chairs of PlaceShapers member organisations.
