17 March 2025

Making our homes more comfortable, affordable to run, and sustainable for the future
bpha has successfully secured £3,370,253 in Wave 3 of the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund, unlocking a major investment to improve energy efficiency for over 400 homes during the next three years.
This investment is part of a £1.8bn nationwide initiative aimed at improving social housing energy efficiency across the UK. It’s a significant step forward in reducing carbon emissions, tackling fuel poverty, and supporting the country’s transition to net zero.
The funding will sit alongside our existing investment and commitment to improve the energy efficiency of our homes and contribute to the decarbonisation agenda.
What does this mean for residents?
- Improved insulation to keep homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer. It could include installing solar panels to generate clean, renewable energy and reduce electricity costs as well as installing insulation to help prevent heat loss.
- Reinforcing our commitment to making our homes more comfortable, affordable to run, and sustainable for the future.
bpha worked with LivGreen to secure the funding.
