South Liverpool Homes (SLH) continues to impress its tenants following a range of service improvements over the past two years. Recent results show that 89% of SLH's tenants are satisfied with the services they receive from their landlord - an increase of over 4% since the last survey in 2010. 

Over 700 tenants took part in the independent survey earlier this year which follows national guidelines to help identify how well SLH deliver their services and maintains its homes.

Not only did overall satisfaction increase, the thumbs up was given in other areas too:

  • 81% are satisfied that rent provides value for money
  • 87% are satisfied with how SLH deal with repairs and maintenance - a significant increase of over 7% since 2010
  • 77% are satisfied that SLH listen to their views and act upon them - an increase of almost 3% since 2010
  • 84% are satisfied with the overall quality of their home

These pleasing results come in the wake of challenging times financially for tenants in South Liverpool and is testament to the work SLH has been doing, in partnership with tenants to improve services. Since the last survey, SLH has introduced a new joint venture repairs service, SLH Home Service, who deliver responsive repairs to homes, completed the first two years of a seven year fencing programme and has implemented a range of measures to support tenants in difficult financial times.

The fact that satisfaction is up in many areas is very encouraging and testament to the way our staff deliver services to tenants. As always with SLH, we celebrate success but there is no time to rest as we will now use the results of the survey to identify how we can improve even more."
