Digital inclusion: what does this mean for the housing sector and service design?
Thursday 1st July, 12noon - 1pm
Dr Emma Stone, Director of Design, Research and Communications, Good Things Foundation
Pre-pandemic the sector knew there was a lot of work to be done to ensure our residents were properly supported to access digital technologies. The many months of lockdown have continually highlighted the digital division that exists.
In this session, Dr Emma Stone, will discuss digital inclusion and its relevance to the housing sector. How big of an issue is digital exclusion in 2021? How are social housing tenants being affected? And how can you ensure the development of new digital housing services is inclusive of those who need support and access the most.
Good Things Foundation are the UKs leading digital social inclusion charity, who have supported over 3.5 million people to improve their lives through digital since 2010.
