Exclusive preview

PlaceShapers members are invited to an exclusive preview of the No Place Left Behind: the Commission into Community Prosperity and Placemaking which will launched in late September at the House of Commons.

Toby Lloyd, former Head of Policy at Shelter and Housing Adviser to the Prime Minister, chairs the Commission and will introduce the findings to members on Wednesday 8 September.

The Commission seeks to identify and develop policy and practice that enables regenerative development in ‘left behind places’. It aims to ensure that the government’s ‘levelling up’ agenda is deliverable and meaningful for those who live and work in these places. The commission’s mantra is that no place should be left behind.

PlaceShapers CEO, Rachael Orr and Board members, Paul Fiddaman (CEO of Karbon), and Gareth Swarbrick (CEO of RBH)  are among 15 commissioners. They have fed in ideas and insights from members.

Date: Wednesday 8 September

Time: 2pm
