In November last year, the Government published the social housing white paper which was developed to ensure that any customers living in social housing are in a safe environment, with good quality homes, and that they are listened to – with a process in place for any issues or complaints they may have. Just six months later Warrington Housing Association showed their support for this by creating a new Customer Experience Manager role, along with another new role of Customer Voice Officer - both put in place to ensure that the white paper was being adhered to within the organisation.more...

The Association is also committed to addressing social isolation amongst the elderly with LifeTime which uses online and traditional methods to engage with the town’s over fifties and provide a ‘whole life’ service including social, educational and health information activities and resources. lifetimegateway.org.uk
The Gateway in the town centre is owned by Warrington Housing Association and was opened in 2004 and is the main office base of the Association.
The Gateway also has a variety of meeting rooms available to cater for all types of events including conferences, seminars, board meetings and exhibitions etc. and the facilities can be easily tailored to suit most needs. www.thegateway.org.uk
Warrington Home Information and Improvement Agency is a non-profit advisory service for older, disabled or vulnerable people and families on low incomes who own their own homes or live in private rented accommodation and wish to repair, improve or adapt their homes. www.wha.org.uk/whia/
