Additional services

Established in March 2002, we have two main aims – to provide excellent services and to increase the supply of affordable homes to those in need.

As one of approximately 2,000 housing associations in the UK, we work closely with residents, local authorities, private sector companies, other charitable agencies and public sector bodies to constantly improve the services we provide.

Whether tackling antisocial behaviour to improve residents' quality of life, providing support for older people or developing affordable properties we are committed to our vision, purpose and values.

Social return on investments

Our community engagement activities, which include our pioneering work experience programme, educational opportunities at the award winning Parkside Community Hub, and our volunteering and involvement opportunities, returned a net social value of £605,122. This is equivalent to £3.40 of value for every £1 spent. Social value considers more than just financial transactions; it includes happiness, wellbeing, health and inclusion. We’ve increased our social value by nearly £1 this year helping 22 people get a job; this is 14 more than last year.

Why we joined PlaceShapers

We are a member of PlaceShapers because our company purpose and values are shared by the many members of the group. The individual provision of affordable homes together with management and maintenance services, combine to demonstrate the national importance of what PlaceShapers members achieve together in meeting housing needs.
