Futures named in top 50 social landlords

FHG is ranked 11th in 24Housing’s top 50 social landlords in the UK which sees the organisation standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest housing associations in Britain.

The list, which was revealed in last month’s issue of the housing magazine, was compiled through a mix of online voting and a judging panel made up of housing experts.

With the top 10 being decided purely by a public vote, Futures Housing Group secured the judges’ top place, demonstrating the excellent work the organisation has been doing in the sector.

Futures Housing Group Chief Executive Lindsey Williams said: “It’s fantastic to be named as one of the top 50 social landlords in the country, not to mention being ranked so highly.

“This is testament to the job we’re all doing across the organisation, showing that we are making our mark on the sector and raising the profile of what we’re trying to achieve.”

The judges noted FHG’s retention of its V1G1 status and commitment to building 1,000 new homes as key aspects of the ranking, as well as acknowledging its social impact through Futures Greenscape and commitment to boosting employment opportunities for local people.

Judges also commended its annual turnover of £44.5m, savings of £1.5m made through smarter procurement, record low rent arrears and an exceptional 95% customer satisfaction rating.
