Back to the Office: Exploring a potential return to the office

Wednesday 27th January, 12noon – 1pm

Facilitated by Claire Higgins, PlaceShapers Vice Chair

Featuring, Fiona Perrin

Most office-based colleagues have been working from home since last March.  Recent announcements would indicate that government advice on home working where possible is unlikely to change in the near future.  Whilst many colleagues have taken to working from home, many have found it challenging and overwhelming people have reported they miss the human interaction of office life.

The pandemic has prompted a lot of thinking around the actual physical need for an office and there is no doubt that when rules are relaxed approaches to the office environment will change.  This session will explore some of the many different aspects to consider when we are able to return to our offices.

We will be joined by Fiona Perrin, a seasoned Board Director and Chairman with experience in PLCs, private businesses and not for profit organisations. Her career includes extensive exposure to the discipline of workplace management. She will provide thoughts from these organisations as they work through the current crisis together with the evolving flexible working agenda - as well as her own personal insights on the role of the ‘office’ going forward.

This session will, without a doubt be practical, informative and thought provoking.  If you would like to join us to consider the factors that will help us plan for the office complete the registration form to the right, joining instructions will be sent out on the morning of the event.
